Timeline Lost is a high-stakes, procedural survival runner where you are trapped in a fracturing reality. A dark entity—a Mimic born from a broken timeline—is hunting you through an endless, shifting corridor. It doesn't just chase you; it is a reflection of your own existence, constantly nipping at your heels.

In this game, hesitation is death. You must navigate a gauntlet of procedurally generated hazards, collect fragments of the timeline to restore stability, and manage your stamina carefully. But be warned: the closer the Mimic gets, the more reality distorts.

⚡ The "Duality" Mechanic

Built for the Game Jam (Theme: Duality), the game explores the conflict between:

• Safety vs. Adrenaline: The safer you play, the faster the Mimic catches up. But let it get too close, and you enter a "Near-Miss" state—time slows down, the camera zooms in, and you have a split-second to make a life-or-death jump.
• You vs. Yourself: The enemy isn't a monster; it's you. A dark echo that represents the consequences of the timeline you failed to save.

• The Mimic System: An unrelenting AI that pursues you through every room. It never stops, forcing you to keep moving forward.
• Adrenaline Rush (Near-Miss): Experience the tension of the chase. When death is inches away, the game shifts into slow-motion, giving you a cinematic moment to dodge or die.
• Procedural Horror: No two runs are the same. The corridors, hazards, and coin placements generate endlessly, testing your reflexes every time.
• Glitch Aesthetics: A visual style that reflects the crumbling world, combining pixel art with distorting effects.
